Strategic energy transition consultancy

In Grupo Trébol Energía we are experts in energy consulting strategic Energy Transition, in line with the objectives and measures PNIEC (National Integrated Energy and Climate Plan).

A company's energy transition is not solved by buying solar panels or signing a one-off PPA. It is solved with a strategy: knowing where you stand, where you need to get to — for regulatory, cost or client reasons — and in what order to pull each lever. That is what we design and deliver with you.

We are the energy transition consultancy that does not stop at the paperwork. We build the roadmap and we also take it to site: measurement, reduction, electrification and financing, with a single person answering for the result.

What an energy transition strategy is (and what it is not)

An energy transition strategy is the plan that organises your company's energy transformation over several years: objectives, investments, deadlines and returns. It is not a sustainability report for the annual accounts, nor an isolated measure. It is the logic that connects what you measure, what you reduce and what you invest, so every euro moves in the right direction.

Our method: diagnosis, roadmap and delivery

We start with a diagnosis of your starting point: consumption, emissions, contracts and processes. From there we build a prioritised roadmap — what to do first, what it costs and what it returns — and we deliver it in phases, measuring results at each one. You set the pace; we make sure every step makes economic sense.

The levers of your transition: measure, reduce, electrify

  • Measure

You cannot manage what you do not measure. The starting point is your carbon footprint and consumption monitoring.

  • Reduce

With the data in hand, we attack emissions and spend through efficiency and supply changes. We develop this under business decarbonisation.

  • Electrify and add flexibility

Self-consumption, battery storage and electric mobility to gain independence and value.

Energy transition for industrial companies

For a large consumer, the transition cannot slow production down. That is why we work with an industrial mindset: we prioritise the measures that cut cost and emissions without compromising your operations, and we match investments with the grants and certificates that make them profitable.

Why Trébol

We bring market, engineering and regulation together in a single team. That spares you coordinating five suppliers who do not talk to each other, and gives you a coherent strategy where measuring, reducing and investing belong to the same plan — not to three separate invoices.

Frequently asked questions

  • Where does an energy transition start?

With measurement. Without knowing your consumption and your carbon footprint, any investment is a shot in the dark. The diagnosis is always the first deliverable.

  • How long does the process take?

It is a multi-year plan, but it delivers results from the first phases. The roadmap is designed so that quick-payback measures fund the ones that follow.

  • Is this the same as decarbonisation?

No. Decarbonisation is one part — reducing emissions — within the energy transition, which is the full strategy and also covers cost, supply, electrification and flexibility.

  • Do you work with industrial companies and large consumers?

Yes, they are our focus. We adapt the strategy to the reality of a plant: without stopping production and with an eye on the cost per unit produced.
