Grupo Trébol Energía achieves carbon neutrality through 100% renewable energy, emissions offsetting and sustainability programmes.

GRUPO TREBOL ENERGIA has reached carbon neutrality — a milestone that reflects our commitment to the environment and to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Carbon neutrality means balancing greenhouse gas emissions through actions that reduce or offset them, moving towards a more sustainable future.

How we got there

100% renewable energy

Our electricity supply carries Guarantees of Origin (GoO), certifying that all of it comes from sustainable sources, with an impact of 0 kg CO2e per kWh. We have also installed solar panels at our head office in Sant Joan Despí, which supports our 100% renewable consumption.

Offsetting with real impact

We support the Bonbonico Debt++ Programme, which conserves forests, improves carbon sinks and promotes sustainable development. The initiative does more than cut CO2: it protects biodiversity and strengthens local communities.

This is a decisive step in our mission to align with the Sustainable Development Goals and act on climate change.
