What is an energy efficiency audit?

When to perform an energy audit?
Royal Decree 56 of 2016 establishes the cases in which energy efficiency audits are mandatory. These are:
- Any company whose payroll includes more than 250 workers. 250 employees.
- Those companies with less than 250 employees, but with a turnover of more than turnover of more than 50 million euros.
- All companies that achieve a balance sheet balance sheet in excess of 43 million million euros.
However, it is also possible to register audits on a voluntary basis, whenever companies or buildings are interested in knowing the current state of their energy consumption and, above all, in projecting changes to it.

- They must be carried out by qualified and accredited energy auditors, in accordance with current regulations.
