Why is a sustainability report a key tool for companies?

Companies have within their reach an instrument that accredits the actions implemented to enhance respect for the environment and, at the same time, allows them to differentiate themselves from their competitors.

These are sustainability reports, which have acquired greater relevance in a global context marked by climate change and energy transition. In this sense, it is necessary to demonstrate that a company is truly sustainable, not just to affirm it.

As of January 1, 2024, sustainability reporting becomes mandatory for large public interest companies and, as of January 1, 2025, sustainability reporting will be required for large companies not subject to the non-financial reporting directive. That is, those with more than 250 employees and/or a turnover of 40 million euros and/or with 20 million euros in total assets.
