On May 29th, Grupo Trébol Energía participated in the technical conference organized by Circutor at its headquarters in Viladecavalls, focused on the analysis of the role of Energy Saving Certificates (ESC) in the transformation of industry and construction. This conference brought together numerous experts from the energy sector, consolidating itself as a key space to discuss the future of EECs in Spain.
What are Energy Saving Certificates (ESC) and why are they important?
Energy Saving Certificates (ESC) are a fundamental mechanism within industrial and building energy efficiency policies. This system makes it possible to accredit the energy savings achieved through different actions, providing incentives for investments in more efficient and sustainable technologies. The CAE have become a strategic tool to advance in the objectives of decarbonization, emissions reduction and business competitiveness.
Grupo Trébol Energía's experience as an Intermediary Subject in the CAE System
During the conference, our Director of Energy Transition, Laura García, participated in the round table as representative of Grupo Trébol Energía, contributing with our experience as CAE Intermediary Subject. This role allows us to accompany companies and organizations in the identification, processing and validation of actions that generate certifiable energy savings.
Laura García stressed that, although the industrial CAE system still presents challenges - especially in data traceability and the management of unique performances in production environments - the market is evolving rapidly and offers great opportunities for the industry.
Focusing on industrial energy efficiency and energy transition
At Grupo Trébol Energía we are committed to the industrial energy transition, offering our clients customized solutions to maximize their opportunities in the CAE system. Through our experience as an Intermediary Subject, we facilitate:
- Identification of eligible actions.
- Integral management of CAE files.
- Technical and regulatory advice.
- Optimization of economic incentives for energy savings.
Energy Saving Certificates in industry are a key opportunity to reduce consumption, improve competitiveness, meet sustainability objectives and access economic incentives that encourage investment in energy efficiency.
Conclusions of Circutor's technical workshop
The technical seminar organized by Circutor not only allowed to share practical experiences, but also to discuss the evolution of the regulatory framework, the enabling technologies for energy efficiency and the role of the different actors in the CAE system: Obligated Parties, Delegated Parties, Verifying Parties and Intermediary Parties.
Grupo Trébol Energía would like to thank Circutor for organizing this meeting, which strengthens the sectorial collaboration and allows us to continue moving together towards a more sustainable, efficient and competitive energy model.
